Melanin Magic Wellness was created by herbalist Lisa Manson. Born and raised in the Midwest, Lisa was introduced to herbal medicine in her early years by hearing “old wives tales” passed down to her mother while working in the family yard. However, Lisa became serious about herbal medicine after a series of life events. She started a spiritual journey in 2015 that led her on a journey to start looking into Holistic Health. Lisa is committed to educating her community about the importance of herbal medicine and the many ways it heals us spiritually, physically and emotionally. With over 5 years of self-study following the works of elders Dr. Sebi, Queen Afua and Llaila Afrika. Trained in Chinese, Native American and Ayurvedic Medicine. She has taken courses from herbalist Sobande Greer and Yoruba Priestess and Author Yeye Luisah. Lisa is a graduate of the Sacred Vibes Apothecary Level 1& 2 Apprenticeship program with Master Herbalist Karen M. Rose. Has a Master Herbalist Diploma, Vegan Nutritionist Diploma and Diet and Nutritionist Diploma from the Centre of Excellence. Lisa is continuing her coursework in herbalism and will continue to develop more products and offer services in the future.
